Le Troisième Jour, ( The Third Day ) is a fabulous large abstract painting. Victor Vaserely was a strong influence on Howlin’s work.

It’s signed so that the figure hangs upside down. Maybe a reference to the Resurrection? I have tried it both ways. What do you think?
