Beautiful and sensitive landscapes

Thorie was born on the Canadian Prairies and received her Masters of Fine Arts(Honours) in 1982 from the University of Windsor, Ontario. She arrived in Great Britain in 1993 and lives in the SW where she paints atmospheric paintings based on the landscape and moors.

Thorie has exhibited regularly in the UK and Canada. Her work is held in private collections in Canada, Australia, Hong Kong and the UK. Public collections include the QE2(Cunard Line) and the Government of Manitoba in Canada.
