Although originally from Staffordshire, Sadie Aucott is based in Devon. She achieved her O and A levels at school, with the emphasis on realism. She later completed Art of Photography with the Open College of the Arts, and qualifications in Drawing and Painting. Over time she developed a system of working with florists’ binding wire, in oder to create 2D monochrome images which combined her love of drawing and animals. These are extraordinary art works which take months to complete. She won the Innovation Award at the IN: SIGHT 2018 exhibition at Castle Fine Art, Washington Green Manchester.
