Flora comes from an artistically talented family. Her mother is a well established painter with work in many collections, and her sister Bea Forshall creates wonderful engravings.

Flora Forshall has recently graduated from Falmouth College of Arts in Cornwall and her passion is the screen print. This is a skilled process not often in use today, that involves layering each different colour onto the paper, each through a screen of fine fabric, one after the other. Working from light to dark, the effects are subtle and because of the method, an edition cannot be extended because each colour will be printed onto the entire edition before the next is added. These ORIGINAL WORKS are in small editions.

Flora shows every indication of a great future and we are delighted to be showing a small number of her pieces at the gallery.
